Not pleased with the performance of the new shaft (the piece that connects the belt and retraction spring) that was introduced in Oct. 2001, we started redesign in May 2005, purchased new tooling, and started testing in February 2006. The longevity looks great so you will start receiving the improved Beltway cassettes soon.
The IAAM trade show was quite eyeopening to us. We actually had no idea what some of our competitors provide you. One gentleman was explaining that he has to remove the rope ends, from the ropes he buys, and straightens the seam and glues the ends back on. We were confounded that one he was able to take the ends off, as the epoxy we use pretty much prevents even us from removing. Secondly that his supplier did not even care enough to send acceptable product. We expect he will start ordering from us from now on. What an encouragement to discover that few if any can match our quality.
We pledge to never move again, after purchasing a facility two and half times the size we started in, we should have plenty of room for future expansion. Our new permanent address is 1100 Denver Ave., Fort Lupton CO 80621.
We have worn out a circular saw, so we have invested in a new Kaltenbach circular saw as a replacement.
